• يراعي تركيب الأكسس بوينت سقفي وليس حائطي لأن الهدف تغطية أكبر مساحة من الدور وليس تغطية الأدوار بنفس الأكسس بوينت

• الحد (الأدني) للمسافة بين أي إثنين أكسس بوينت متجاورتين هو ٣ متر

• الحد (الأدني) للمسافة بين الأكسس بوينت وأي عمود عائق هو ١ متر

• توضع الأكسس بوينت فوق المكان الذي سيتواجد به عدد كبير من المستخدمين أو غرف الإجتماعات الكبيرة أو أماكن الإنتظار للزائرين. so always try to physically place the AP as close to the actual users as possible

• توضع الأكسس بوينت بعيدة عن أي عوائق قريبة مباشرة تحول دون انطلاق الإشارة كالأعمدة الخرسانية والأسمنتية

• توضع الأكسس بوينت بعيدة عن أي أجهزة تكييف أو أي أجهزة مايكروويف

• توضع الأكسس بوينت بعيدة عن أي كوابل الشبكات المحلية أو كوابل الكهرباء

حتي يمكن تمرير ملتي جيجابت بين الأكسس بوينت والكونترولر لابد من إستخدام كابلات إيثرنت تستطيع ذلك. فيما يلي أنواع الكابلات التي يمكن إستخدامها بين الأكسس بوينت والكونترولر:

CAT 5e - STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)

CAT 6 - STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)

ملحوظة (١): لا يجب إستخدام CAT 5

ملحوظة (٢): يفضل تمرير عدد ٢ كابل لكل أكسس بوينت بلونين مختلفين علي أن يكون الأول رئيسي والثاني إحتياطي

يتم تغذية الباور إلي الأكسس بوينت بتكنولوجيا الباور أوفر إيثرنت بلس +PoE أو ما يسمي 802.3at والذي يعتمد علي تغذية حتي ٣٠ وات

عند توصيل أي أكسس بوينت بالسويتش بإستخدام ال Cat5e يجب مراعاة الآتي:

• البورت في السويتش يجب أن تدعم +PoE أو 802.3at

• البورت في السويتش يجب أن تدعم سرعة واحد جيجابت / ثانية

When connecting any Access Point to the Switch using the Cat5e cable, the Port in the switch must support:

• PoE+ 802.3at

• 1 Gig Speed

Create New WLAN

1. Go to WLANs

2. Create New WLAN

3. Type Profile Name and SSID - Example NCB-FlexCube for both

4. Enable the WLAN Status

5. Disable the Broadcast SSID if hiding the network is required

6. Go to Security Tab

7. Select Layer 2 Security

8. Select MAC Filtering

Create New AP Group

1. WLC can support up to 512 WLAN but each AP can support only up to 16 SSID or up to 16 WLAN.

2. Go to WLANs

3. There is a default-group that includes all the installed APs

4. Add New AP Group for Example AP-FLEXCUBE

5. Customize the New Group by clicking on the group name

6. Go to WLANs under AP-FLEXCUBE

7. Add the NCB-FLEXCUBE WLAN to this AP-FLEXCUBE

8. Add the NCB-WIFI WLAN to this AP-FLEXCUBE also

9. Go to RF Profile and select the basic radio profile. make sure to select the right rf profile to match the AP type

10. Go to APs

11. Add the APs in the locations to the group. The APs will go down and join back

12. check that the APs joined the group by looking at APs Tab along with their MAC Addresses.
